Barcelona confirm Arda loan
Barcelona have officially confirmed that Arda Turan will be loaned to Basaksehir in a deal that sees the Turkey worldwide join the club until 2020.
Although the deal is for two and a half years, Barcelona have retained the right to sell the player to another club during that period if they receive a concrete offer to buy him, although Basksehir have the right to match that offer and make Arda their property.
Basaksehir have risen rapidly over the last two seasons to rival the established Istanbul triumvirate of Besiktas, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray.
The Catalan giants took to their official website on Saturday to reveal that the out-of-favour winger would be heading back to his Turkish homeland after they reached an agreement with Basaksehir over his temporary transfer.

Turan, who turns 31 at the end of the month, joined Barca for €35 million in 2015 during an election campaign, a signing made by president Josep Maria Bartomeu and backed by Luis Enrique, the club's coach at the time.
Despite his failure to fit in as one of Barcelona's premier stars, Turan is still in the prime years of his career and could be a valuable asset to Basaksehir if he's able to rediscover some of the form he displayed at Atleti and during his first spell in his home country.
Turkey's fourth-most capped player will also be hoping to return to his best for the national team after reversing his decision to retire from global football in August.
After his move to Barca, the authorities in the Istanbul district of Bayrampasa announced that they had named the road where he grew up "Arda Turan Street" in his honour.
