Padmaavat and Padman
The film based on 16 century poet Malik Muhammad Jayasi's work "Padmavat" got mired in controversy after various Rajput groups, including the Karni Sena, alleged that it distorted history, a claim denied by Bhansali. Wednesday 5 cr, Thursday 19 cr, Friday 32 cr. Rajasthan, Haryana, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh state governments had also installed a ban on the film until the Supreme Court called it illegal in a ruling.

This amount of disrespect is maniacal for a respected citizen of this country.
Meanwhile, Padmaavat is still facing the ire of Rajput organisations who are constantly protesting against the film. Padmaavat, made on a budget of Rs 180 crore, has raked in Rs 56 crore in just three days since of release. The First Day Collections of Padmavati is about 24 crores.
