Plumber father arrested for thrashing 10-yr-old boy for "lying"; mother filmed the assault A shocking video surfaced on Saturday showing a 10-year-old boy being mercilessly beaten up by his father after his mother complained that he had "lied again" about attending his tuition classes.

A media report suggests that the incident came under light after the mother gave her phone to a mobile fix shop. The man has been arrested. The video had gone viral on the Internet and the 37-year old has been identified as Mahendra Kumar, a plumber from Bengaluru. "Will you lie again?" The mother who is not seen in the video can be heard in the background telling her husband that the boy had lied again.

The boy keeps pleading, saying he will not lie again, but the father continues to slap the boy, lift him up and throw him on the floor. However, Mahendra then kicks the boy from the bedroom into the living room.
