Former Not Ready for Primetime Player Bill Murray turned up in this weekend's cold open, portraying President Donald Trump's former chief strategist in a Morning Joe parody.

Scarborough and co-host Mika Brzezinski, a married couple in real life, then introduce special guest Michael Wolff, author of the "Fire and Fury" book, played by former SNL cast member Fred Armisen.

Steve Bannon, who has exclusively been portrayed as the Grim Reaper on SNL, appeared to discuss Wolff's book and unveiled that he is being played by Bill Murray.

Armisen's Wolff was asked about something shocking about Donald Trump. "Someone would put a bowl of Goldfish Crackers on the other side of the room and Trump would say, 'A thousand bucks on the black one'".

When he's asked if that's really true, Armisen shrugs, "Yeah".

Trump to keep Iran nuclear deal alive for now
On Friday, Trump said the United States would withdraw from the Iranian nuclear deal unless its "disastrous flaws" were fixed. Trump's decision avoided placing the United States in violation of the commitments it made in the landmark 2015 deal.

"You read it, right?" You had fun? What's the problem.

"Even the stuff that's not true, it's true", he adds.

But now that Bannon isn't just out of the White House but deeply on the outs with the people who made him famous, Saturday Night Live's writers aren't likely to bring him back into the action any time soon. "The Bannon dynasty is dawning", stated the fake Bannon. Some of them include - wrinkled barn jackets called "Frumpers" for guys, spring skin care line called "Blotch" and a new show on streaming platform Crackle.

Picking up on this issue, the comedy sketch show, which usually features Bannon as nothing but a death, satan skull, surprised the viewers by casting Bill Murray for the role.

Closing the segment out was a satanical Oprah Winfrey to play off the speculation that she could run for president in 2020. She talked about her potential candidacy, "I am a celebrity, so I'm qualified, but I am different from Donald Trump because I'm actually a billionaire. So who knows? There's only one job more powerful in the world than being president: BEING OPRAH!".
