Hillary Clinton decided not to fire a senior adviser on her 2008 presidential campaign who had been accused of sexual harassment, against the recommendation of her campaign manager, two sources who worked on the 2008 campaign tell CNN.
Strider and Doyle did not immediately respond to CNN's request for comment. The young woman who made the accusations was moved to a new job within the campaign, the Times reports.
Clinton has not addressed why Strider remained on her 2008 Democratic campaign.
After being prompted by somebody in the background, Clinton then looks at the camera and says, "And let me just say, this is directed to the activist bitches supporting bitches". The Times noted that Clinton's campaign manager recommended Strider be removed, but Strider instead stayed on while the young woman was moved to a different position. She said the young woman's concerns were "taken seriously and addressed", but that does not explain why Mr. Strider was not given further punishment.
"S$3 he had time for this but couldn't explain why she deliberately kept a sexual harasser in her inner circle for years", another tweet stated.
