Body of missing 16-year-old Fairfax teen found in Alexandria park

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Manassas is working on identification.

The body of a missing teenager who was reported missing on January 12 was found in an Alexandria park in Fairfax County on Friday, officials confirmed.

The family is urging anyone who may have Moussa to simply return her home. She's been missing for 14 days.

Jholie Moussa, 16, was found Friday morning under leaves and brush at Woodlawn Park. No arrests have been made in the case. The medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death, which could come as early as Saturday.

Police gave a press conference on Friday night, tentatively identifying the body as Jholie's due to the appearance and tattoos found on the body.

The parents said in media interviews they felt Jholie might be in danger, but they did not believe police were treating the case with urgency.

Police say that in the event the body is identified as a juvenile, due to a new state law, they are prohibited from providing nearly any information at all unless parental consent is provided.

ASEAN Heads of States watch glittering R-Day Parade in Delhi
India is also a major source of worldwide tourists for Canada , with 215,000 Indians visiting in 2016. PM Modi at the trade summit was quoted saying that "Our trade has grown 25 times in 25 years".

Parker pushed back on that idea.

The post said Jholie told her sister that she would be right back, but didn't text her again until 8:02 p.m.to say she was going to a party in Norfolk, Va.

Federal Bureau of Investigation agents were in Norfolk recently chasing possible leads into Jholie's disappearance. The father said the boy later told him a man asked the boy to borrow his phone to place the call.

WUSA9 Reporter Peggy Fox first reported the teen missing and spoke to the family about the search for their 16-year-old daughter.

Detectives said at the time that they had spoken to approximately 20 people who had recent contact with Jholie, but many of those people weren't fully cooperating.

Moussa's family did not respond to requests for comment Friday. Over 21,000 people have joined the Facebook group Bring Jholie Home.

"Please continue to pray for our family", said the relative's message.
