Saudi-led coalition plans to give $1.5bn in Yemen aid, expand port capacity
The casualties came hours after nine civilians, including four children, lost their lives in Saudi aerial assaults on Sa'ada's Razeh district. The rebels' Al-Masirah television said a single strike on the province on Tuesday night killed nine people, four of them civilians.
Russian Federation halted its diplomatic presence in Yemen last month because of the deepening conflict and Moscow has previously expressed concern about strikes by the Saudi-led coalition.
Last week, Human Rights Watch (HRW) accused Saudi Arabia and its allies of attacking Yemen's populated areas and using Western-supplied arms in their "indiscriminate and disproportionate airstrikes" on the impoverished nation.
"The conflicts in Syria and Yemen have created two of the worst humanitarian crises of our time", Johnson said ahead of the meetings.
A Saudi-led coalition has been waging an air campaign against Huthi rebels since March 2015 in an attempt to shore up the internationally recognised government of Abedrabbo Mansur Hadi.
