The pair had been rehearsing a lift ahead of Sunday night’s show

One of Dancing On Ice's professional skaters, Ale Izquierdo has been rushed to hospital following a horrific fall during rehearsal with partner, rugby player Max Evans.

Photos released by ITV show Ale lying on her back in pain, with an unharmed Max and production medics coming to her aid.

Pictures showed the 21-year-old enjoying a romantic routine with his partner Alex Murphy and sporting a broad grin on Friday, as the pair whipped across the ice.

She was taken to a nearby hospital where nurses had told her to rest for 24 hours before getting back into her skates.

The horror fall meant their place in the competition was in jeopardy as producers at the time weren't sure if Ale would be able to perform in the live show tonight.

It has now been revealed that the professional is already feeling much better today, and will still be performing her choreographed routine alongside Max on the live show, according to Digital Spy.
