Dark Souls Remastered will be announced today
The project appears on multiple platforms including PC, called Dark Souls: Remastered. Remaster does not just end up with graphics enhancements, but the game delivers online support for up to 6 players (initially up to 4) and officially dedicated servers, making Bandai Namco opening the door to bigger online support.
Nintendo hosted a mini Direct yesterday (Jan. 11) which saw the announcement of several exciting titles that are on their way to the Switch, including the likes of "Super Mario Odyssey"#DLC, "Payday 2", and "Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze". These links leave Siliconera.
The box set is slated to release the same day as Dark Souls: Remastered on May 24, 2018. One of the most attractive parts of Dark Souls: Remastered is the graphics, and the game will have its graphics beefed up quite a bit. The most recent entry in the Dark Souls franchise, Dark Souls 3, came to consoles and PC in early 2016. Dark Souls II was already given the remaster treatment for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 back in 2014, under the subtitle Scholar of the First Sin.

Dark Souls Remastered on Switch will run at 30FPS in docked or portable mode. It's also coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The box set will include all three Dark Souls games, each respective game's soundtrack, framed art, Dark Souls' themed bookends, and three dictionaries containing the entirety of Dark Souls' item list.
