Padmaavat review
Mumbai: Deepika Padukone, whose much awaited film Padmaavat finally released Thursday, is confident that the movie will create box office records.
But it looks like she will again rise to the top: The actress recently revealed that she was paid more than the male stars in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's recently-released magnum opus Padmaavat.
This film got into a controversy after Rajput groups claimed that it distorts history.
Fans took to Social Media to share selfies of themselves with the movie tickets, excited fans even shared glimpses of the actress on screen showcasing their love for the epitome of beauty Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmini. The film is expected to pick up the momentum during the first weekend as despite all the challenges, the audience want only entertainment.
The most anticipated and controversial film Padmaavat released on Jan 25 all over the world. But after receiving U/A certificate by the CBFC, the film was banned by some state governments including Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Rajasthan.
