British Prime Minister Theresa May sought to reaffirm her country's central role in world affairs on Thursday, when she delivered a speech to the World Economic Forum and met with President Donald Trump to dispel any perceptions of tensions between them.
"When the United States grows, so does the world", Mr Trump said in a speech to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
"These and other predatory behaviours are destroying the global markets", he said.
One of Trump's first actions in office was to pull out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership, the trade agreement among a dozen countries that included provisions, among other things, created to bring equity between countries in copyright laws.

The remaining 11 countries proceeded to negotiate a new trade agreement, CPTPP or "Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans Pacific Partnership" which will be signed in March in Chile.
