Idaho Earthquake Felt 150 Miles Away in Salt Lake City

An natural disaster Thursday evening was felt by residents throughout northern Utah and southern Idaho. That uneasy jolt that has become all too familiar since an quake swarm began near Soda Springs, Idaho last September.

UPDATE 11:30 p.m.: A third 3.3 magnitude quake in the same area hit at 10:40 p.m. Thursday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Soda Springs is 132 miles northeast of Salt Lake City, so people in the Utah capital's metro area likely didn't feel much, if anything.
