India beat Bangladesh, face Pakistan in semifinals

In a rush to hit big, Gill gave his wicket for 86 to Nayeem Hasan. This triggered a mini collapse for India who had looked well on target for a score in excess of 300.

The Bangladesh chase started steadily - but slowly - with Naim Sheikh the first to go at 23/1 in the ninth over. For Bangladesh only Pinak Ghosh top-scored with 43.

After contributing with the runs, Abhishek Sharma scalped a wicket on his first-ball, getting Qazi Onik for 0. He slammed a 49-ball 50 inclusive of 6 fours, to guide India past 250. Papua New Guinea and Zimbabwe, too, were decimated by India in the league encounters.
