Hours after IPL announced that there would be as many as 1122 players taking part in the IPL auction, it has been revealed that 36 players (13 Indian and 23 overseas) have listed their base price at INR 2 crore, which is the maximum base price limit, ahead of the auction that is scheduled to take place in Bangalore.
In 2018 IPL auctions, there will be a total of 281 capped players, 838 uncapped players including 778 Indian players. The auction will see players from around the world including those from associate nations in hope of a contract with an IPL franchise.
