Is Elon Musk Now Selling $600 Flamethrowers?

What? You don't think I can get away with selling an actual flamethrower

Soon after selling the required number of hats, Musk tweeted "Hats sold out, flamethrowers soon!" on the eve of Christmas.

Mark this down as one of the promises Elon delivers on, apparently, because it looks like the Boring Company flamethrower is here.

Redditors in various SpaceX and Boring Company subreddits have spotted that the URL "boringcompany.com/flamethrower" is showing a white page with a password box in the centre.

Musk was recently selling Boring Company hats to "fans" and took things a step further in December when he promised to add flamethrowers to his merch range.

Nokia 7 Plus leaks at Geekbench with Snapdragon 660
Talking about the display of Nokia 7 Plus, it may sport an 18:9 display on the front with the same design as the Nokia 7 . Well, apart from these details, there isn't much about the Nokia 7 Plus that's revealed through the Geekbench listing.

Fast forward to this week, when a password-protected page on The Boring Company's website was uncovered, and the incredibly easy password was cracked.

The listing states that the flamethrower pictured is a prototype the firm's toying with - matching up with an image American musician D. A. Wallach shared on social media earlier this month - and that the "final production flamethrower will be better".

Once on this secret web page, Twitter user FalconGridFin found what we'd all assumed wouldn't possibly be real: a prototype design for a genuine The Boring Company flamethrower, which might go up for sale once the page is made public. But the same can not be said by Elon Musk's latest product - a flamethrower. The original password, which has since been changed, was "Flame" - let's hope SpaceX's security for the Falcon Heavy rocket is a little more tight.

The Verge cited one Reddit user who said the flamethrower is slated to ship in April, causing the site to speculate that this may be an April Fool's Day joke. No word yet if that's April 1st.
