It's been a blur of a week for Michigan State and the victims of both Nassar and sexual assault by Spartan athletes over the past decade.
An ESPN report published a couple of hours after Hollis' surprise announcement detailed a disturbing pattern of sexual and physical assault by former Michigan State student-athletes, including three former Spartan basketball players.
Dantonio said any accusations or complaints towards his individual involvement in his sexual assault cases are "completely false". "Every incident reported in that article was documented by either police or with Michigan State's Title IX office", he said.
Dantonio said he learned of all the sexual cases in the "OTL" report from the authorites. The values that we teach everyone in this program will be enforced. "We have also always tackled problems head on and dealt with issues". An independent law firm report commissioned by Michigan State found that Dantonio followed university policy and reported the incidents to authorities.
Coach Tom Izzo said he would not be answering questions about allegations against his former players, and he refuted reports that he would retire or resign as Michigan State's basketball coach.

Dantonio took two questions from reporters after his statement ended and addressed a rumor saying he would be resigning as head coach.
