Kenedy has travelled to complete his loan move to Newcastle United as Chelsea near a £25 million deal for Roma full-back Emerson Palmieri, sources have told Goal.

NewsNewcastle are on the verge of signing Brazilian midfielder Kenedy on loan from Chelsea after he arrived on Tyneside for his medical.

Manager Rafael Benitez has been keen to strengthen his squad this month but has been uncertain of his funds due to talks over a potential sale of the club, which have ended for the time being.

Kenedy, who was signed originally as a winger, has been used sparingly in rotation behind Marcos Alonso, but Newcastle will reportedly use the player in an attacking berth.
