It's not the first team signing fans are going to be hoping for either until it happens or until the transfer window slams shut, but it's a name to keep in mind for the future as Liverpool have today signed 18-year-old Scotland youth worldwide Tony Gallacher for £200k from Falkirk.
He is the second defender to move to Merseyside in this transfer window, following Virgil van Dijk's record £75 million arrival from Southampton.
Since making his first-team debut for the Scottish side when he was just 16, Gallacher has attracted attention from a number of clubs south of the border.
Manchester United and Stoke had been linked with moves for Gallacher in the past.
