Manchester City are lining up a sensational swap deal with Atletico Madrid that would see superstar strikers Sergio Aguero and Antoine Griezmann swap places.
Atletico's 26-year-old striker has proven himself to be one of Europes deadliest finishers over the last few seasons and Guardiola is said to be huge fan of his talents.
It is believed that Griezmann has a buyout clause of £85 million (R1.44 billion), and there are rumours he is looking to leave the Madrid club at the end of the season.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola wants to retain the services of Aguero but it appears he may be tempted to hand over the Argentine if can get France global Griezmann in return.
A source from The Sun said: "Atletico have contacted Sergio's representatives to see if there is any chance of getting him back".

In the unlikely event that such a move might happen, both City and Atletico would actually benefit from it - Aguero would absolutely love playing off Costa while Diego Simeone can revert comfortably to his favoured 4-4-2 formation while Griezmann is the kind of all-action, deeper-lying forward that Pep Guardiola seems to like having leading his line.
Griezmann, meanwhile, has been heavily linked with a switch to Manchester United for more than a year, although the Red Devils' capture of Alexis Sanchez is thought to have ended their interest in the Frenchman.
Aguero is thought to have 18 months remaining on his current City contract and is valued at around £60m by the club.
