Army ‘rescues’ another Chibok girl
Another Chibok girl, Salomi Pugu, abducted from government Chibok secondary in 2014, while preparing to sit for the senior secondary school examination has been recaptured.
The release of this young girl gives others hope that the rest might still be released or rescued.
However, the DAPR, Usman said Pagu and Adams' rescue was effected by troops of Operation Lafiya Dole, adding that the girls were receiving medical attention at an undisclosed health facility.
Chibok community leader Madu Usman expressed happiness that Pogu finally had been rescued but said efforts must be made to find all those who remain in captivity.
Col Onyema Nwachukwu, Deputy Director Public Relations, Theatre Command Operation Lafiya Dole said this in a statement.
