Nissan Motor's self-parking slipper is seen in this handout
Nissan has unveiled their latest technological invention, which may seem like more of a novelty. Nissan plans to market a vehicle that can drive itself on city streets by 2020.
Japanese auto maker Nissan Motor Co. has come up with a fascinating way to use its proprietary automated driving technology that might be flawless for any traditional Asian home: self-driving slippers. In 2016, the carmaker debuted its self-parking office chair that tucked itself under its assigned desk or table at the clap of your hands.
When you enter a ryokan, you remove your street shoes and put on a pair of slippers so you don't track dirt inside. Things don't stop at self-parking slippers either.
In addition to the smart slippers, the inn also has traditional low tables and floor cushions for sitting that can also wheel themselves into place. We tell you all of this because someone at Nissan decided that all of these conventionally Japanese features needed a bit of a modern twist to make them even better.
A simplified version of that same technology has been installed at the hotel where Nissan's first parking slippers can be found.

The Nigerian goal keeper, who was virtually on holiday, only had a feel of the ball twice all through the first half of the match. Ajibade turned scorer in the 21st minute, when she rounded up the South Africa goalkeeper before she found the back of the net.
This technology has been names as ProPilot Park technology.
Nissan is said to already use this technology in the latest version of its all-battery electric Leaf vehicle. It hasn't made its way to the United States yet, but you can rest assured that Nissan is working hard to bring it here.
