HMD Global might launch a new upgraded variant of its mid-range Nokia 7 smartphone at the upcoming MWC 2018 event.
Our friends over at Mobiel Kopen just spotted the Nokia 7 Plus on Geekbench, the benchmark reveals some of the specs of this new device.
As you can in the image, the model name clearly shows Nokia 7 Plus. As per the report, it runs of a Snapdragon 660 chipset, along with 4GB of RAM.
In comparison, the Nokia 7, which was launched in China in October a year ago, is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor and 4GB/6GB RAM.

And the listing further says that the phone is running Android 8.0 Oreo at the time of benchmarking, so it' safe to assume the Nokia 7 Plus will run Android Oreo out of the box when it launches. If display size is not the only upgrade, we may see a better set of cameras on the Nokia 7 Plus.
Well, apart from these details, there isn't much about the Nokia 7 Plus that's revealed through the Geekbench listing. Talking about the display of Nokia 7 Plus, it may sport an 18:9 display on the front with the same design as the Nokia 7. With that said, the Plus moniker will refer to the internals of the smartphone.
While we don't expect the Nokia 7 Plus to make its debut at the Mobile World Congress, there's a possibility that the company could announce the phone at MWC for the global market given that Nokia 7 is still China exclusive. It has been listed as "HMD Global Nokia 7 Plus", and, has made a score of 1636 points in single-core test and 5902 points in multi-core test.
