Sky Sports reported earlier that Cahill had travelled to London to discuss his potential Millwall return and latest reports have indicated that the popular midfielder has been offered a deal by The Lions.

Tim Cahill's search for a new club is nearly over, with the Socceroos legend set to meet with former club Millwall in England this weekend.

Cahill made his debut for Millwall almost two decades ago, and went on to play a key role in the club's run to the 2004 FA Cup final, where they were beaten by Manchester United.

During his first spell with The Lions, Cahill helped Millwall to Football League Trophy and FA Cup finals while he was a promotion victor with the club in 2000/2001 when they won the old Second Division, now known as Sky Bet League One.
