The Oscar nominees for best actress in a motion picture have been announced by the film academy.
With that said, no guts no glory, here are my Oscar nominations predictions.
The Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars, will honor the best films of 2017.
In a crowded field, it also saw off The Big Sick, Molly's Game, The Post, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, and Wonder Woman.

Nominations for the 90th Academy Awards will be announced Tuesday amid what's proving to be an unpredictable and highly political awards season. Will James Franco squeak into the best actor category after several women made allegations against him of sexual improprieties while filming sex scenes? Human error at last year's show led to "La La Land" mistakenly being named the best picture victor before the actual victor, "Moonlight", was announced. Greta Gerwig's Lady Bird, Jordan Peele's Get Out, Christopher Nolan Dunkirk and Steven Spielberg's The Post are all in the mix, too.
What's virtually certain, though, is that the Academy will ensure the correct winners are announced following the disastrous finale to last year's awards, when La La Land was incorrectly announced as Best Picture instead of Moonlight. Which movie will take home the most nominations?
According to Entertainment Tonight, Tiffany Haddish and Andy Serkis will host the 2018 Oscar nominations event early Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, in Los Angeles.
With the Golden Globes and SAG Awards now out of the way the Academy Awards are looming, with Jimmy Kimmel set to host this year's ceremony on 4 March, 2018.
