A Boeing 737 for Pegasus Airways skidded off the runway of Trabzon Airport and dangled precariously over a cliff that fell into the Black Sea.

Footage posted on social media showed panicked passengers being evacuated from the aircraft and another clip appeared to show one of the plane's engines in the water.

Several Turkish Airlines flights in and out of the airport were canceled, as photographs from the scene showed the plane stuck in mud.
