Benue still under siege, Ortom tells Kwankwaso
Four persons have been reportedly killed in Benue State, after some suspected Fulani herdsmen launched attack on Uvir Council Ward in Guma LGA of the State.
"We are here to condole the Governor, the Tor Tiv and entire people of Benue State for the unfortunate incidence that happened in this state where 72 innocent Nigerians lost their lives, it was very sad to all of us. Let me join the good people of this country who have condemned actions of criminals who have done that in this state".
"As a former governor, I know the cost of taking care of such people".
Senator Kwankwaso who donated 1, 200 bags of rice for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), urged spirited Nigerians and individuals to support state governments affected by the crisis for the upkeep of the IDPs and vowed to work together with other members of the National Assembly to support the various states to ensure that the crises are nipped in the bud.
Ortom said he would continue to voice out on the continued attacks by herders until justice is served. We look forward that the resolution of the Senate would be implemented.

He regretted that the attacks were coming when farmers were harvesting their crops. The truth must be told and justice done.
"People who are saying that I am talking too much should give me justice and I will keep quiet", he said.
