London Olympics bronze-medallist Saina, who is coming back from an ankle injury, took just 37 minutes to beat Sindhu 21-13, 21-19 in the quarter-final.
Saina Nehwal completed the win in straight games to enter the last four stage.
After the break, Saina used all her experience to take the lead (14-13) for the firsttime in the match.
