Tottenham rival Manchester United with transfer talks underway for Lucas Moura

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly begun the process of attempting to facilitate a deal for Paris Saint-Germain attacker Lucas Moura - a player frequently mentioned in connection with Premier League rivals Manchester United over recent weeks.

The French newspaper claim Tottenham have launched a move to sign Lucas, and initiated contact to try and get the Brazilian to London.

Spurs are looking to further reinforce their front line and they have been alerted by the availability of the 25-year-old footballer.

The report claims that Tottenham gave taken steps in the last few hours, although Spurs would prefer to sign the winger on an initial loan deal, although PSG are only interested in a permanent transfer, with the cash being used to help their bid to be compliant with Financial Fair play rules.
