The Switch is so far selling faster than the original Wii over in Spain, although no official numbers have been shared yet. It seems Microsoft was betting a bit too much on the Xbox One X. As this happened in Spain, there is still a fight in France going on between these two Giants. Xbox One sits at 300,000 units sold, and Nintendo's hybrid system has passed that number. As of December 2017, Switch became the best-selling Nintendo console in France with 911,000 units sold.
It will be interesting to see how 2018 fares when it comes to hardware sales. If someone picks up the PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC version of the game from the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store or Steam, it is $29.99.
