Washington, Jan 24 "America is open for business", Donald Trump would tell the world in Davos, the White House said today, asserting that the US President would reiterate his commitment to domestic and global economic growth and prosperity.

Trump will deliver a speech to the gathered leaders on Friday in which he is expected to tout his economic agenda of tax cuts and deregulation.

The former real estate tycoon is "firmly committed to being the best salesperson the United States has to drive economic growth and drive prosperity and drive a better quality of life for American citizens", Cohn said.

Trump is the first sitting USA president to attend the Davos summit since Bill Clinton went in 2000.

He continued: "America First is not America alone". I said in my remarks, when we grow, the world grows.

The prime minister will participate in a number of important events and hold bilateral meetings with key world leaders and Chairpersons and CEOs of fifteen leading multinational organizations from the US, Europe, China and Japan.
