"Well, I'll tell you".

Viewers of Good Morning Britain have already been shown a few snippets from the interview, which was recorded earlier this week in Davos, with Trump in Switzerland for the annual World Economic Forum. It is the first worldwide television interview the President has done, and one of few with British press after minister Michael Gove sat down with him for the Times in January 2017.

Trump also says his administration might not withdraw from the 2015 Paris climate accord if terms more favorable to the United States are reached, in part because he likes French President Emmanuel Macron, a driving force behind implementing the accord.

Mr Trump last month cancelled a planned visit to London to open the new United States embassy, claiming that the sale of the old building in the centre of the capital had represented a bad deal for the US.

"I am a gay millennial woman and I voted for Donald Trump because I oppose the political correctness movement, which has become a fascist ideology of silence and ignorance".

Morgan posed the question to the former television personality: "Given the amount of offence it caused - do you regret, now, those retweets?".

"I know nothing about them, and I know nothing about them today other than a little bit", Trump said, adding that it "wasn't a big story" in the US.

While Carroll and Barnes aren't exactly the first players you would think of to lead the line at the Premier League champions. Cazorla's latest round of ankle surgery means he might not return to action until 2019.

But he was less apologetic about tweeting the content of the videos, saying he believed they depicted "radical Islamic terror".

Morgan pointed out that it appeared as though he was endorsing the videos. I mean, if they don't, I could very nicely stay home. I did a retweet. 'I don't want to be involved with these people.

"But I am a tremendous supporter of the UK". I would love to go there. I like, as you know, I like Emmanuel (Macron). A very special people, and a very special place.

Morgan then asked, "Can I get an apology out of you, just for the retweets?"

Pushed for an outright apology for his retweets - which made headlines in the United Kingdom and even triggered statements in the House of Commons - President Trump explained that he would disavow himself of the individuals responsible for the original tweets if they were "horrible people, disgusting racist people".
