UN Secretary General visits Colombia to boost confidence in peace process with ELN

Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos will activate the so-called Hercules Joint Task Force today in the southwestern department of Nariño, official sources confirmed in this capital.

"I believe that it is the duty of all the citizens of the planet to fully support the peace building process in Colombia for the Colombian people", the United Nations chief added.

Guterres' visit is the first to a post-conflict Colombia.
