Three people have been injured in a auto crash so violent it split the vehicle in half.

A serious crash on Route 24 by the Brockton-Avon line left three injured and delayed the morning commute.

One is said to be in a serious condition.

A preliminary investigation suggests that following an impact with another vehicle, the vehicle traveled off the road where it struck trees and a utility pole.

A 23-year-old woman who was a passenger in the demolished vehicle was ejected in the crash and MedFlighted to Massachusetts General Hospital with serious injuries, state police spokesman Dave Procopio said. She was airlifted to Massachusetts General Hospital.
