Theo Walcott
Walcott was seen entering Everton's training ground, Finch Farm, on Tuesday afternoon, and has completed and passed a medical ahead of his transfer.
And Walcott, who also became tempted by the move thanks to the influence of Wayne Rooney, appears to already know what position he'll take up at his new club after speaking with Sam Allardyce.
What's more is Walcott played in a forward role for Arsenal a few times and impressed, so Sam Allardyce has signed a player whose versatility could come in handy.
The 28-year-old took to Instagram to give fans a glimpse of his first day at the club's training base with a series of behind-the-scenes photos and videos.
And despite making the tough decision to leave his comfort zone and head north to Merseyside, Walcott proved he has not lost his sense of humour earlier in the day.
The arrival of Walcott, who has eight goals in 47 appearances with England's national team, follows Everton's acquisition from Besiktas of striker Cenk Tosun. Walcott has been plagued with injuries throughout his career and missed the 2014 World Cup because of a ruptured ACL, and also missed time last season with a calf injury. Everton have had a habit in recent years of finding ways to pull at least some degree of lost potential out of players, and they very much need a winger with the kind of skill that Walcott once displayed on a regular basis. After the Blues went down to an embarrassing four goals - I feel he will slot right into the starting eleven.
