Xiaomi Mi Box 4
Fortunately, Xiaomi has heard you loud and clear, launching two new Android TV boxes in the form of the Mi Box 4 and Mi Box 4C. While it can be paired with Mi Box STBs using Bluetooth, the company is also offering IR Blaster for using the same remote for controlling other devices.
The Box 4 has a 1.5 GHz 64-bit Quad-Core Amlogic S905L Cortex-A53 CPU whereas the 4c has an Amlogic Cortex-A53 with 1.5 GHz 64-bit Quadcore GPU Mali-450 and 750 MHz 3+2 core. The PatchWall interface will basically learn from you, it will learn your viewing habits in order to filter content that you may like.
The other major highlight is the support for 4K HDR video decoding as well as Dolby Audio + DTS-HD audio decoder output. As the names suggest, these fourth-generation TV boxes are the successors to the Mi Box 3s and Mi Box 3c that were launched back in November 2016. The newly announced Mi Boxes - both Mi Box 4 and Mi Box 4c come with AI-based UI and 4K HDR support. It also comes with 2GB of RAM, and 8GB internal storage.

The Mi Box 4 may well be running Android underneath but will run a customised MIUI interface on top, and not the Android TV that the original Mi Box ran. The affordable Mi Box 4C only comes with the standard infrared remote controller. Ports-wise, we get an HDMI port, AV port, and a USB port for connecting external devices such as hard disk or pen drive.
The Xiaomi Mi Box 4 features an attractive white exterior that is slightly reminiscent but not exactly inspired by the Apple TV design. There is a 3.5mm composite output on-board as well.
Talking about the Mi Box 4c, the V box is identical to that of the Mi Box 4. Designed in a small square-shaped design, the Mi Box 4 measures 145 grams with 1.6cm thickness. However, the box features 1GB RAM with 4GB internal storage and is available in the Matte Black color variant.
