After all, he has two Super Bowl rings, twice as many what the Hall of Famer signal-caller owns.

Head coach Doug Pederson previously was slowed by illness.

"It's not going to be 'Doug vs. Belichick, ' it's going to be the 2017 NFC Champion Philadelphia Eagles vs. the AFC Champions".

One of the people who will be in the spotlight on Super Bowl Sunday is Eagles head coach Doug Pederson.

Yesterday, the Eagles essentially shrugged it off.

Pederson established a players' council to get a better sense of the emotions and thoughts inside the locker room, a popular move that went a long way in earning him credibility. I had to put these trousers on just like you did this morning. Coaches can coach and then get our guys warmed back up to come back out. We're so late in the season now that we understand how to practice.

Defensive linemen Deatrich Wise (concussion) and Malcom Brown (foot) also were limited in the practice in full shoulder pads. Pederson scouted Foles before the 2012 draft and that also contributed to their relationship.

"It's obviously a challenge to go up against a very smart coach, an intelligent coach, a coach who's going to have his team well-prepared, " Pederson said. "And this is about just fine-tuning and keeping the guys fresh for Sunday".

The Eagles kept to their normal practice schedule this week and on Friday focused on red zone and short-yardage situations. He was kind of like my second eyes, and I trusted him tremendously. Favre won one: Super Bowl XXXI against the Patriots. "It is longer, as long as you stay moving around. for some of us older guys, that means not stopping moving at all".

Jernigan is one of several players and coaches that has been battling a bug.

Now football has adopted some of those methods, and Pederson includes them in his strategies.

"This is the most selfless team I've ever been around", Pro Bowl tight end Zach Ertz said.

The rest of the Eagles practiced fully, including running back Jay Ajayi (ankle) and defensive tackle Fletcher Cox, who answered questions during the media availability with a colorful Kelly-green ski mask etched with Eagles lettering. "I'm glad", he said. I'm not going to wait for you to lose the game.

"We know the Patriots".
