The scene of a deadly package bomb explosion in East Austin
Austin police are investigating a possible package explosion that has left one person dead and another one injured.
The first call came in at approximately 6:50 a.m. Monday morning at 4800 block of Oldfort Hill Drive near East Martin Luther King Jr.
A teenage boy was declared deceased at the scene, while a woman in her 40s was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with serious and potentially life-threatening injuries.
The FBI told ABC News that it is responding to the reported explosion and assisting Austin police, who are the lead agency handling the situation. Anthony Stephan House, 39, was killed March 2 when a package exploded at his northeast Austin home.

House's death was initially called a homicide, but police last week said it now is considered a suspicious death because officials hadn't ruled out the possibility the victim may have constructed and accidentally detonated the device himself.
Officials have not yet released any further details on the March 2 blast.
