State Police Lt. Chuck Christiansen says they took Blatz and his wife into custody. He had warrants for two counts of larceny and violating probation in Indiana.

Police said Blatz called an associate to pick him up, then pushed that person out and stole his vehicle. The suspect and his wife tried to run leading to a short chase that ended on M-40 in Paw Paw around 1:00 p.m. Troopers noticed a vehicle with IN plates IN the area and made a traffic stop around 4:00 p.m. As the driver pulled over, authorities say one of the suspects pushed them from the auto and drove away. Police stopped the vehicle near 102nd Avenue in Allegan County when a trooper used the pit maneuver.

"One of our troopers saw an IN plate pull IN and then pull out".
