Airtel launches Rs 995 pack with 6-month validity to compete against Reliance Jio

The new plan is priced at Rs 995, and comes with a validity of 180 days. 999 yearly plan offers unlimited calls, SMS and data. The company also offers 1GB of 3G/4G data usage per month with this plan and 100 SMSes per day. Since the plan has a validity of 180 days, users end up getting up to 6GB data during the stipulated period. With Rs 999 recharge, Airtel gives you 60GB of 3G/4G internet data for a time of 90 days.
In comparison, Reliance Jio also has prepaid plans that come with a validity of 90 and 180 days. Country's leading telecom operator Airtel has now introduced a new long-term plan for its prepaid customers.
The company recently revised its Rs 98 pack by now offering more 3G/4GB data for 28 days.
