The Mets won't be adding reliever Greg Holland to their bullpen. St. Louis has already announced their Opening Day roster.
After missing all of 2016 due to injuries, Holland would bounce back in a big way with the Rockies.

Holland, who injured his right elbow in late 2015 and sat out all of the following season while recovering from surgery, was the closer for Kansas City through most of 2014 and 2015, when the Royals made back-to-back trips to the World Series. And yet, teams continued to overlook him all offseason long. It's apparently a done deal, with only Holland's physical required to make things official.
Holland, who declined to exercise his $15 million player option and rejected a $17.4 million qualifying offer from the Colorado Rockies after the 2017 season, agreed to a $14 million deal. But, he does get to potentially pick on the Pirates and Reds a lot this season.
