Starting with this Saturday's UFC 222 in Las Vegas, Prime will offer the mixed martial arts (MMA) series' fights on an event-by-event basis for US$64.99, the same cost as on other platforms.
Amazon Prime Video is bringing UFC pay-per-view events to viewers in the USA beginning Saturday with UFC 222: Cris Cyborg vs. Yana Kunitskaya.
After winning the vacant Invicta FC bantamweight title previous year, Kunitskaya was originally set to make her UFC debut against a much less high-profile opponent, but when Max Holloway was forced out of his scheduled UFC 222 main event with Frankie Edgar, the chance to meet Cyborg on short notice arose. During the interview, she was asked about a potential fight against Mayweather. After she was fighting in Invicta and then in UFC.
Cyborg is the heavy favorite in this fight, which is typical of her match-ups. "I'm trying to get ready for everything".
To many UFC fans, Kunitskaya is a relative unknown.
Expect her to throw heavy and often in search for the finish which is unlikely to go the five rounds. But yes, she's very tough.

With Cyborg and Kunitskaya booked, and Nunes reportedly defending her title against Raquel Pennington at UFC 224 in Brazil, the superfight will have to wait. It is great to see Cyborg finally headlining UFC events but she has struggled to find competition in a UFC division that hardly exists.
