Annabelle Sciorra- Rosalie Carbone
In what seems to be a rather late announcement for a series that was said to wrap filming back in November 2017, The Sopranos alum Annabella Sciorra has been cast in season 2 of Marvel's Luke Cage.
Entertainment Weekly describes the character as "a unsafe downtown criminal underworld power player with an eye, and an agenda, toward Harlem".
In addition to her role as The Sopranos' Gloria, Sciorra's previous TV credits include Law & Order: Criminal Intent, The L Word and Chris Vance's Mental, plus appearances on Blue Bloods, CSI and, most recently, Bull. "You haven't seen her this gangster since her thrilling turn as Tony's formidable flame Gloria Trillo on Season Three of The Sopranos". Viewers last saw Luke Cage in 2017's the Defenders, a mini-series that brought the Marvel-Netflix heroes together to fight The Hand.
This is the second Netflix role Sciorra has secured in recent months, aftering a recurring role in G.L.O.
