Apple is rumored to be working on a cheaper 9.7-inch iPad (perhaps with Apple Pencil support) as well as a cheaper 13-inch MacBook Air which could be unveiled at the event. While Apple tends to put a bit of time between announcement and release, that isn't the case here.
Apple in recent years made changes to its operating system so that more than one student can log into an iPad, and to its software to let teachers better manage groups of students.
The event starts in about four hours from now.
Notably, that likely won't be all Apple talks about at its event.
Roseanne Barr Reveals Why a 'Roseanne' Revival Didn't Happen Sooner
Barr added, "Everybody was in and so then it went from a special to a series and we had a deal in three weeks". That story arc may as well be ripped from real life, because the real Roseanne , too, voted for Trump.

- Every customer who buys iPad from Apple will be offered free Personal Setup, in-store or online, to help them set up email and iMessage®, download apps from the App Store® and more. Of course, this new iPad comes pre-loaded with a suite of apps designed for use in classrooms (along with some perks for students, such as vastly expanded iCloud storage), so that may make it a more valuable purchase even at the same price point. For more information, please visit apple.com/ipad. Apple usually makes all of its announcements at its headquarters in California.
The company announced a new collection of spring Apple Watch band colours on March 21, which may go on sale following Tuesday's event. The low cost iPad expected to be in the $200 to $300 range.
The operating system update includes a new Classroom 2.2 app, which is created to turn the iPad into an assistant device for schoolteachers.
The video of the event will be available for viewing at a later date. The framework shouldn't be required to stream music without an iPhone, as the Apple Music app is already capable of that, but it might for example push new releases and updated playlists to your wrist, as well as any other notification you'd get in the main Spotify app. The company has never pulled away from education, but it hasn't been as aggressive, analysts said; for example, the last education-focused event it held was in 2012 when it introduced iBooks.
