Apple planning cheaper MacBook Air, report says

Well, the date of the brand new laptop will be soon announced this year at WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference), that is generally held in June, that has rumoured second-quarter release of the cheaper MacBook Air.

Kuo claims the new MacBook Air will be released some time during the second quarter of 2018, ahead of Apple's keynote launch event in September. That may change this year, as the company is reportedly planning to put out a newer and more affordable MacBook Air in the coming months.

Apple has been accused of being many things, but "cheap" isn't one of them.

The current MacBook Air starts at US$999 in the U.S. in its most basic configuration, with specs including a dual-core 1.8 GHz Intel Core i5 processor, a 128GB SSD and 8GB RAM. The original MacBook Air was not updated for three years, so major changes inside it certainly can not be avoided.

Presents a conceptual smartphone Vivo APEX
Needless to say, the Vivo APEX will first go on sale in China, but we are hoping that it comes to Indian market as well. At the yesterday's Chinese event, the company mentioned the Vivo APEX to enter the production in second half of 2018.

Advertisers pull ads from InfoWars' YouTube channels
The real concern for advertisers now, however, is how reliable the platform is as well as its control over what ads end up where. Some also said they explicitly blacklisted InfoWars channels, but didn't realize how many channels the company actually had.

Texas F Jericho Sims named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week
Texas wasn't as effective in turning points into turnovers - 8 points from turnovers, compared to West Virginia's 20. Pardee and Davenport scored five points apiece during a 15-4 opening run and the Mountaineers never trailed.

But even though the MacBook Air may look great, it has a 5th generation Intel processor that lags behind those found in other laptops on the market.

Apple has cut off on available models along with a whole discontinuation of the 11-inch version. In addition, Kuo did not monitor few details related to the approach of MacBook Air, so it is doubtful if the lower price tag comes with much less powerful specifications, or if the less expensive price may be supplied despite upgraded internals.

Steve Jobs presented the first MacBook Air in January 2008. As to what the upgrade will include, that's hard to predict. Apple won't want to offer a cheaper laptop that reduces the amount of 12-inch MacBooks it is selling.

Kuo also notes that demand for some of the newer Apple products like the HomePod has been mediocre, so far, which is perhaps prompting the company to lean more on its more traditional offers for this year.
