A Gold Statue Of Harvey Weinstein On A 'Casting Couch' Has Surfaced In Time For The Oscars
The disgraced movie mogul is featured wearing a robe, pajama trousers and slippers as he is seated on a gold couch on a black and red podium that read "Casting Couch".
A gold statue of Harvey Weinstein, seductively robed and seated on a "casting couch", has appeared a short distance from Hollywood's Dolby Theatre, where the awards will be held on Monday.
The disgraced movie mogul appeared in Los Angeles this week in statue form, splayed out on a golden "casting couch" clad in a bathrobe and clutching an Oscar statuette near his crotch.
Plastic Jesus and Monroe built the Weinstein statue over a two-month period, aided by donations from numerous individuals.
"The whole couch and the entire image it gives off was to me a visual representation of the practices and methods that are used in Hollywood with these big powerful people".
Draped in nothing but a robe and pajama-like trousers on a golden casting couch, the statue appeared in Hollywood on Thursday, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
