Bihar hit and run case BJP leader Manoj Baitha accused of running over 9 school kids surrenders
On February 24, nine children were killed and 24 others, the majority of the students, were injured when a auto rammed into a government school building at Ahiyapur in Muzaffarpur.
Nine children were killed and many others injured after his vehicle mowed into a crowd on Saturday afternoon.
Baitha was shifted to Patna Medical College and Hospital for treatment of the injuries he suffered during the accident. The FIR has named only one person (Baitha) as an accused although locals said that there were at least three persons in the vehicle which mowed down the children.
Deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi has said Baitha will not be spared and the police will arrest him sooner.
Manoj Baitha, a district-level BJP worker from Sitamarhi, has been accused of mowing down the children with his SUV on Saturday.

Mr. Yadav said, "Till now, no arrest has been made in the incident".
