Internal Investigation Into Bono's One Campaign Finds Pattern Of Misconduct, Abuse
A female employee in the charity Bono co-founded has been allegedly demoted when a foreign government official's proposal to "become intimate" was rejected.
The poverty-fighting advocacy group founded by Bono and his U2 band mates is acknowledging "an institutional failure" after an internal probe uncovered an pattern of abuse and misconduct between 2011 and 2015 in the organization's office in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The British tabloid detailed a string of incidents, including claims from a married woman who said she was demoted after refusing to have sex with a Tanzanian member of parliament.
