Brad Pitt Joins Leonardo DiCaprio In Quentin Tarantino's New Movie

When Charles Manson died in a Bakersfield hospital at the age of 83 on November 19, 2017, Quentin Tarantino had just sold a movie about the murders that ended the decade of love and peace to Sony.

It had already been revealed that Leonardo DiCaprio will star in the eagerly-anticipated film, but now, after much speculation, it has been officially confirmed that Pitt will join him. DiCaprio, 43, plays Rick Dalton, the former star of Western TV series, while 54-year-old Pitt stars as Dalton's longtime stunt double. Pitt and DiCaprio, however, will be playing two showbiz vets still struggling to survive in Hollywood, and interesting choice for the men who are nearly inarguable's the towns most famous actors. Margot Robbie will play Sharon Tate, the next-door neighbor best known for being a Charles Manson murder victim.

Tarantino has worked with both actors on previous projects.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Tarantino's ninth film, will hit theaters on August 9, 2019, the 50th anniversary of the Tate killings. Just as he reteamed with DiCaprio after Django Unchained, Tarantino reunites with Pitt after the WWII pic Inglourious Basterds, which got eight Oscar noms.

A Quentin Tarantino movie is big enough to garner attention and have fans in anticipation.
