Adam Gotsis
AUSTRALIAN defensive tackle Adam Gotsis, who's at the front-end of his National Football League career with the Denver Broncos, was arrested last week for allegedly raping a woman in 2013. The woman reported the rape on February 1, almost five years after the alleged altercation.
The Post reported that the incident allegedly occurred while Gotsis was attending Georgia Tech. The woman said she went to a party with Gotsis and then he took her to his home and raped her.

According to an incident report by Atlanta police, Gotsis surrendered last Wednesday at the Fulton County Jail and was charged with strong-arm rape.
The Broncos have issued a statement acknowledging the arrest. "Our organization was aware of his arrest on March 7, and it is our understanding that no determination has been made at this time as to whether any charges will be filed", a team spokesperson wrote in an email to CBS4.
The team says it takes accusations of this nature very seriously and will monitor the legal proceedings. After playing sparingly as a rookie, he became a starting defensive end starting in 2017. After recovering from a summer knee surgery, Gotsis posted 41 tackles with two sacks.
