Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Now Xbox One Backwards Compatible

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Is now available to play on the Xbox One. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, the game that set the FPS genre down a path it is continuing to walk today, has finally arrived for Xbox One Backward Compatibility, allowing players to enjoy the game in its original glory. If you don't have the physical disc itself, you're going to have to buy it. Alternatively, you can buy the game through the store, where it's now being sold for $17/$15 for Gold.

The news was announced by Xbox executive Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb on Twitter.

Here it is Xbox COD fans, the moment you've been waiting for since you first heard the Xbox One would be getting Backward Compatibility. The Xbox 360 version of Modern Warfare is now on sale for $14.99 for Gold members and $16.99 for everyone else. This definitely gives Call of Duty diehards plenty of first-person shooter action to experience on the Xbox One, but again, it's safe to say CoD 4: Modern Warfare will be the most coveted. The epic title also delivers an added depth of multiplayer action providing online fans an all-new community of persistence, addictive and customizable gameplay.
